Just a cool bench salvaged from an old American base in Puglia. What makes this piece unique is the the writing “Officers Only” on the seat. According to the story we were told, the bench was originally a kneeler that was transformed into a seat by the American soldiers. On this bench only the officers were allowed to sit and wait for their bus to go home. As for most of our pieces, the bench is its untouched condition showing all its scratches and beautiful imperfections. Italy, XX century.
