A beech wood washing board with an unusual shape. The beautiful dry grey patina was caused by the hundreds (if not more) washes it had to go through. This particular model has a soap section and a triangular structure to help have more grip during the washing and clothes rubbing process . Probably dating back to the late XIX century.
