An antique workbench from the end of XIX century salvaged in Puglia, Southern Italy. This rare piece  still possesses its splendid original patina and it was probably used in carpentry: long wood sticks were inserted in the holes that were used as measurers to get a clean and precise cut.  If the workbench is turned upside down, one can notice the writing “Attanasio” which probably indicates the name of the owner or the carpentry where it was used.
