A pair of orcios with four handles and with the typical decorative plait to the lower part of the body. Both the vases are enameled to the inside with pearl gray and brown. These orcios were salvaged from Calvello, a small village in the heart of Basilicata very famous for the ceramics. The art of the pottering was introduced in Calvello by the Benedictine monks in the 1200. Both vases date back to the XIX century.
