Table I-BL

Table I-BL

An extraordinary XVII century walnut table salvaged from a monastery in Northern Italy. The two plank top is nailed to a sturdy structure, on the front plank are two large drawers with both an incision that says “IB-L”, most probably the name of the ebanist who made the piece. The original rich patina is truly beautiful and was kept thanks to a careful and long restoration. There are some dents throughout the piece and also the base stretcher is missing but we opted for not replacing to respect the authenticity, history and age of this table.
