A large ceramic vase enameled in dark green and braided to the rim. This kind of vases were usually placed on parapets in the old palaces and villas as a sign of wealth. Salvaged in Grottaglie, a small town in Puglia famous for its centennial production of high quality ceramics. Italy, XIX century.
