This green display cabinet was originally a dough box.  The lid on top encloses the space where the dough had to be kept in order to rise. The box-shaped space was ideal to knead the dough without spilling and wasting much flour. The part below was used to keep kitchen tools and opens thanks to two small doors.

Since the lid was irrecoverable, we decided to convert this dough box into a display cabinet. Just the original frame of the lid was kept, to which we have applied a couple of transparent glasses.  This item is ideal to expose a collection or it can also be used as a display counter in a shop.
