Crenelated Madia Cabinet
Crenelated Madia Cabinet
Fir wood cabinet dating back to the XIX century. The lid on top encloses the space where the dough had to be kept in order to rise. The box-shaped space was ideal to knead the dough without spilling and wasting much flour. The part below was used to keep kitchen tools and opens thanks to two perforated doors that suggests that the bottom part was also used to keep foods.
